Dr. Naoko Ikeda joined Alliance Medical Group in January 2014. She is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, and received her degree at Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL before becoming Chief Resident at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Prior to becoming a doctor, she received her Masters degree in Biomedical Science, graduating cum laude.
Dr. Ikeda's professional expertise includes geriatrics, wound care, and long-term patient care. Dr. Ikeda is fluent in both English and Japanese, and belongs to a number of professional osteopathic medicine organizations.
Dr. Charmi Shah is passionate about teaching and community medicine, both locally and abroad. She has traveled to countries outside of the United States to provide medical care to needy patients.
Dr. Shah's professional interests include a broad range of services in family medicine, with a particular interest in adolescent and women's health, public health, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Shah states, "Medicine isn't only about the illness. It's about the patient, their family, and our community. During my patient's visit, if I can ease their concerns, empower them and put a smile on their face, I've done my job!"
